The Senior Citizens’ Christmas Dinner will take place this year in Glenbervie Golf Club on Thursday the 15th of December at 2pm. Anyone who wishes to attend this function should add their name to the list at the back of the Church.
HOSPITAL CHAPLAINCY
Under article 9 # 1 of the European Convention on Human Rights, you have the right to Chaplaincy services when you or a loved one enters hospital for treatment. In the past, clergy had access to Admission Registers and could identify Catholic patients whom they would then visit on their rounds. This no longer happens, so it is vital that you tell nursing staff that you wish to receive a visit from a member of the Catholic Chaplaincy Team during your stay in Hospital.
YOUTH GROUP
We are keen to create a YOUTH GROUP. This would be an opportunity for our High School parishioners to meet on a regular basis. This Group is for YOU and we want to know your ideas as to how this would work best – if you have any ideas/ suggestions then please speak to one of the Children’s Liturgy leaders, Fr John or add these to the sheet on the notice board. The aim is to have the first meeting sometime before the end of this year.
