Church Care and Maintenance 
Repainting of the Church roof interior will begin in the final week of September and should take around 8 days to complete.
For anyone interested in learning more about the Church or perhaps wishing to become a Catholic, then please speak to Fr John as soon as possible.  The new RCIA session has just started [Wednesdays 7.30-9pm St Mary of the Angels Church Hall ] but there’s still time to join !

Friday 21st
7-9.30pm St Francis Xavier’s Hall: 2nd CLUSTER Meeting  to carry out a detailed examination of joint resources and to look at how we can more effectively and generously share such resources in terms of people, plant [Church buildings and other property], celebrations and finances
facilitated by the Epiphany Group a support group rooted in Ignatian Spirituality. The course aims to help participants develop and deepen their experience of prayer and live more reflectively. Monthly meetings starting Wednesday 26thOctober at the Jesuit Centre in Edinburgh.  Fr John writes…..having been associated with the Epiphany Group and participated in their courses over the years, I highly recommend this one and urge all who are interested in developing their spiritual lives to consider applying for a place. Leaflets available at the back of the Church.
The annual pilgrimage to pray for the beatification of Venerable Margaret Sinclair will take place on Sunday 2 October at St Patrick’s in Edinburgh’s Cowgate from 2pm to 6pm. The day will begin at 2pm with a Holy Hour followed by a performance of the play, The Margaret Sinclair Story, recently debuted at the Edinburgh Festival. Holy Mass is at 4.30pm with Archbishop Cushley as principal celebrant. Please bring your own refreshments. All are very welcome.
