RCIA – Rite of Christian Initiation of Adults : Falkirk Cluster Parishes Do you feel drawn to exploring Christianity in the Catholic tradition, maybe even wondering about becoming a Catholic ? Well, RCIA  might be for you.  This year’s RCIA sessions begin on Wednesday 5th September from 7.30-9pm at St Francis Xavier’s Falkirk. Will all those who have already expressed an interest and others who would like to know more, please make contact with me as soon as possible so that I can pass on your details to Fr Jamie Boyle. Friday 7th – Sunday 9th September : National Eucharistic Pilgrimage and Congress in Liverpool
Eucharistic Congresses are gatherings of clergy, religious and laity which promote an awareness of the central place of the Eucharist in the life and mission of the Church. Here in Scotland, we are invited to pray for the success of the congress and for an outpouring of blessings far and wide across the universal Church, including ourselves.  + By way of formal participation we will hold Holy Hours of Adoration here from 7-8pm on Friday 7th; 5-6pm on Saturday 8thand 5-6pm on Sunday 9th September. +

St Patrick’s Church, Cowgate, Edinburgh. 2pm Opening; 3pm Film : The Story of Margaret Sinclair, Servant of God; 4.30pm Holy Mass.  Refreshments available.
