Fr John writes…..As you know, we have carried out extensive refurbishments of the Church over the last 3 years, including repainting of the interior, a new sound system, more appropriate lighting, carpeting etc. Now it’s the turn of the Parish House to get its long-overdue face-lift.  A very big THANK YOU to Joe McKee [Fabric Committee Chair] and John Barrett, Peter Butterly, John Burns, John Dick and Chris Ross for their hard work last Sunday in uplifting the tired patch-work of house carpeting in readiness for a modest, hard-wearing replacement. We are also having the house interior re-painted in a tasteful and uniform colour-scheme, which should make the place warmer and more welcoming for parishioners and other visitors alike.
Our new PARISH BOOK OF REMEMBRANCE will be brought up at Offertory during Vigil & Sunday morning Masses throughout November and placed on the Altar, remembering before God all who have died since this time last year and whose names are inscribed therein. You are respectfully invited to add the names of other loved ones who have gone to God. The older loose-leaf folder bearing names of deceased loved ones will also be brought up and laid on the Altar at Vigil and Sunday morning Masses in November.
